People's photos I borrowed...

Cutest little boy ever in the Plaza de Ayuntamiento in Valencia. He kept chasing this bird.

Typical houses in Valencia.

The 6 boys in our group...yup only 6 of them out of 25.

This needs no words. Stunning.

Tapas

Well Spain is known for tapas, right?? That's true, yes. But I've only had tapas once since coming 2 weeks ago. On Friday night, we finally had tapas (with wine of course). Here's a picture I stole from one of the other girls in my group.

Mi casa

My room....kinda small but I appreciate having my own space to escape to.

The living room/family room/whatever you want to call it. The dining room table is next to the big couch (but it's out of the picture). We've eaten at that table once in the week and a half that I've been here. Most of the time, we eat in the kitchen or in front of the TV on one of these couches.

The kitchen. That tiny little table is the one that my mama and I eat at every day.

Valencia

Train station

Plaza de Toros...where the running of the bulls happens

Just fabulous architecture

Statue on top of a building

And architecture...

Cathedral--HUGE and beautiful

Door to the cathedral...words cannot describe

Different doorway into the same cathedral

Our two tour groups met (by accident) in the middle of this alleyway. Reminds me a little bit of West Side Story ;)

Just your typical corner in Valencia...love it!

Biggest aquarium in all of Europe; Most species in all of the world!

Dolphin Show!

One of my favorites from the whole day. This young boy put his crazy straw up next to the glass and the seal kept trying to play with it. So cute.

The stunning jelly fish

Me admiring the tunnel with fish swimming over top of me. Fabulous isn't it?

Javea/Xabia

We visted Javea this afternoon. Javea is castellano (Spanish) and Xabia is the same thing but in valenciano (a dialect in the community of Valencia).

The other side of the mountain. A lil less beautiful...

A typical street in Javea.

This picture does not do this door justice at all...so magnificent.

View of a mountain from the top of the church (which used to be a fort as well).

The Mediterranean, as seen from the top of the church.

The beautiful sunset we got to watch from the top of the church. Again, doesn't do it justice.

The bell of the church.

This picture does not do this justice at all...but this is inside the church, off to the sides of the pews. It's SO beautiful but the lighting was awful.

One of my friends was trying to be artistic. Here's me on top of the church with the Mediterranean in the background.

The Mediterranean

The beautiful coastline.

I kinda want this house...it looks right out at the sea!

Waves on the Mediterranean.

A cave on the coastline. So pretty.

Path to the Torre de Gerro. 6 km from Denia aka a long and cold walk.
